Zero matches doesn’t mean the person doesn’t exist — it means the combination of selectors didn’t find a confident candidate. Three usual causes:
Combination too narrow
Adding every field you know can over-constrain the search. Drop the middle name, loosen DOB to year-only, or remove the secondary email. Try again.
Formatting
Phones should be raw digits (10 or 11). DOB is YYYY-MM-DD. SSN is 4 digits, no dashes. Driver license is the issuing state’s exact format. The form normalizes light typos but won’t correct a transposed digit.
Genuine low footprint
Some people genuinely have very little public data — minors, recent immigrants, off-grid individuals. We won’t invent matches. If you’re sure the person exists and you have a strong identifier (SSN, DL, VIN), contact support and we’ll triage manually.
